If
you haven't already heard, the WNYMA is helping to promote a raffle by
Valvetech Inc. [www.valvetech.net] to
benefit former AMA pro rider Joe Nothnagle who is currently battling brain
cancer. http://www.wnyma.com/2008/joe-nothnagle-benefit.html
Joe
is currently getting treatment at the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center at the
University of Rochester Medical Center, and that brings us to the WNYMA
Kick the "C" out of Cancer Series update.
Beginning
May 11th at the Palmyra Racing Association and running for five straight weeks
at the WNYMA's five different tracks… the WNYMA will be raffling off various
donated items with 100% of those proceeds going directly to the James
P. Wilmot Cancer Center. [www.stronghealth.com]

A SIXTH EVENT HAS BEEN
ADDED… Saturday
night June 21st, the WNYMA will host a pasta dinner before the Silver
Springs Racing Night cross event, plus a silent auction and raffle to benefit
Joe Nothnagle. On Sunday June 22nd... it's the 2nd Annual Atomic
Racing VS. Thunder Alley Sports VS. Tuf Powersports VS. the world Team
Challenge ! At the end of the race day the winning Team Challenge team
will be awarded the very unique Team Challenge trophy and will also
present representatives from the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center a check
for 100% of everything we were able to raise.
It’s
a little early yet to let all the details out… but look for at least three AMA
National Pro riders AND some outdoor national rigs to be a part of these events
on June 21st and 22nd.
Current Kick the "C" out of Cancer Series
supporters are: Dunlop tires, Tuf Powersports, Atomic Racing, Thunder Alley Sports,
Inc., Troy Lee Designs, Scott USA, KSA Racing, RG3 Suspension, CRF's Only, LOST

If
you would like to donate any motocross related product[s] to raffle or auction
off, or even form your own five rider Team Challenge team for $50.00… please
let us know.
